The Lonach Collection

The Lonach Single Malt Collection

Duncan Taylor & Co. have launched a new range of aged single malts to their expanding collection of unique premium whiskies.

The Collection contains a vatting of aged malt whisky from under-strength casks with over-strengths’ from the same distillery. This results in truly unique single malts aged from 33 – 37 years old.

What usually happens in distilleries is lower-strength whiskies tend to be used for blends if they do not meet the minimum alcohol requirement of 40% - regardless of the quality. This can be a terrible waste of some fantastic lower strength malts. What is important about the Lonach Collection is that it keeps these natural lower strength whiskies by combining them with over-strength casks.

As with all Duncan Taylor’s premium ranges, The Lonach Collection is non-chill filtered, with no colourings added. The malts are 100% natural from casks to bottle.
